“A lot of the materials used in the jewelry and accessories are eco-friendly,” explains Milar, “They are made out of recycled upholstery remnants, bike tubes, seatbelts, and other materials. Arova really has a humanitarian focus through donating to DIR and offering unique eco-friendly products that aren’t available here in the U.S.”

About Founder Megan Milar
Megan Milar loves travel, fashion and expressing her personal style. She calls Cincinnati, Ohio, home, but from 2009 through 2012, Megan lived abroad in India with her husband and four children. This international experience gave her new friends, a greater appreciation for Indian culture, and eventually, the idea for launching Arova.
When she first moved to India, Megan admired the gorgeous gold and diamond jewelry that’s so common there, but it didn’t feel like a match for her personal style. Then Megan found herself strolling through a market in Delhi on a 110-degree day and discovered the country’s artisan jewelry. Now this was Indian jewelry she could wear and love!
She hopes to bring this same thrill of discovery to other women through Arova. Before founding Arova, Megan worked extensively in marketing, retail and consumer research. She spent three years at Procter & Gamble before launching her own full marketing firm and later investing with General Nutrition Center (GNC), one of the leading boutique franchisors in the United States.
Megan is also very grateful for all of the opportunities life has presented to her and is committed to giving back to others.
